This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Take responsibility for the comprehensive roadmap of the Midas Clinician Payments portfolio, which includes the Variable Compensation Engine, MySignify Pay, OCC Pay Module, and time tracking.
• Conceptualize and lead the Variable Compensation Engine with a reusable incentive infrastructure, lever configuration, and reporting that links spending to workforce behavior.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across Payroll, Operations, HR, Legal, Finance, and Communications to sequence approvals and adhere to regulatory notification requirements.
• Create detailed product specifications and convert vague business requirements into clear technical definitions.
• Work alongside Finance and Operations to assess the effectiveness of incentives and the return on investment.
• Integrate equity, fairness, and legal compliance for 1099 and W2 clinicians into the product architecture.
• Establish and monitor KPIs, including incentive utilization, deployment fill rates, pay accuracy, time-to-payment, and ROI.
• Conduct research with clinicians, operations managers, and finance partners to evaluate the costs associated with manual processes in terms of time, accuracy, and trust.
• A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
• 4–7 years of product management experience overseeing complex, cross-functional products from inception to delivery.
• Experience in incentive systems, compensation design, or variable pay mechanics.
• Familiarity with payment complexities involving contractor (1099) and W2 workforce requirements.
• Knowledge of full-time/part-time classification, hours compliance, legal exposure, and state-specific payment regulations.
• Demonstrated ability to facilitate cross-functional alignment amidst competing priorities and approval processes.
• Technical proficiency, including troubleshooting integration issues, interpreting data models, engaging in architectural discussions, and drafting precise specifications.
• Strong data orientation with the capability to define success metrics, analyze incentive performance, and connect spending to quantifiable outcomes.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Preferred: experience in workforce platforms, gig economy, marketplace, or HR technology.
