Product Manager, Chip Making – Metalworking

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the entire lifecycle and P&L narrative of the portfolio, including strategy, roadmap, launches, pricing, and performance.

• Collaborate closely with Engineering, Marketing, Channel, and the Metalworking Sales Directors to transform end-user insights into market-winning products.

• Conduct market research and Voice-of-Customer initiatives; leverage competitive and cost analyses to make informed, profitable decisions.

• Establish strategy, pricing, and financial objectives for each product line; track sales and margins and respond to the insights provided by the data.

• Equip Marketing and Sales teams with compelling messaging, copy, technical documents, and launch materials that drive sales.

• Engage with end-users, key dealers, and accounts while representing JPW at various tradeshows.

• Lead product line reviews and competitive assessments; address special quotes and support representatives, dealers, and customer service teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or at least 5 years of experience in industrial product management.

• Practical experience with CNC machinery and a genuine understanding of the product, the market, and the needs and desires of end-users.

• A proven track record of managing the complete lifecycle of product launches, from program development to successful in-market sales.

• Self-motivated, business-driven, and enthusiastic about expanding both the category and personal growth.

• Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously with strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word for reporting and product research; experience with SAP is an advantage.

• Willingness to travel to meet customers, dealers, and attend tradeshows as needed by the business.
