This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.
β’ Take charge of the complete product workstream for the introduction of Reap's card issuing infrastructure into European and African markets β encompassing regulatory readiness, processor integration, and the launch of the first client.
β’ Spearhead the rollout of new card schemes within your designated markets β managing the onboarding process, program setup, and BIN acquisition.
β’ Develop comprehensive market requirements documents that encompass the entire card issuing stack: scheme approvals, processor integration, KYB/KYC, transaction processing, AML monitoring, card provisioning, and shipping.
β’ Oversee project management for expansion efforts across cross-functional teams β including Risk, Compliance, Finance, Treasury, Onboarding, Core Product, and Engineering. Define necessary builds and ensure timely delivery across all workstreams.
β’ Manage the go-live checklist for each market and scheme β from scheme approval through to the first test transaction and initial client processing.
β’ After a market launch, take responsibility for the transition from MVP to full functionality β addressing feature gaps, enabling deferred capabilities, and incorporating initial client feedback.
β’ Handle the ongoing business-as-usual (BAU) operations for your markets β having launched them, you will manage them.
β’ Collaborate with Core product teams to introduce Reap's comprehensive product suite to your designated markets.
β’ Address market-specific risk and compliance challenges β including local AML requirements, changes in country restriction policies, scheme audit responses, and remediation tasks.
β’ Monitor and react to ongoing regulatory changes, scheme rule updates, and processor requirement alterations across all schemes operating within each market.
β’ A minimum of 5 years of product management experience in card issuing, with direct involvement in launching card programs in new markets or jurisdictions.
β’ Comprehensive understanding of the card issuing stack β knowledge of how scheme relationships, processor integrations, BIN management, KYB/KYC, transaction processing, fraud monitoring, settlement, card provisioning, and shipping integrate as a cohesive system.
β’ Experience with card schemes (Visa and/or Mastercard) β familiarity with scheme processes, program rules, scheme compliance reporting, and the nuances of launching a new BIN in a region.
β’ Proven management of processor relationships β having integrated with at least one card processor, you are aware of the dynamics between issuers, processors, and networks.
β’ A strong product operator β this position combines project management with product strategy. You will coordinate among multiple PMs, engineering teams, compliance, and external partners across various time zones. You keep operations running smoothly without micromanagement, deriving energy from the operational rigor of launching a market.
β’ Comfort in cross-functional collaboration across time zones β serving as the EU/Africa timezone anchor for a team spanning APAC and the Americas, strong asynchronous communication skills and proactive identification of potential blockers are essential.
β’ Excellent written communication skills β capable of producing clear market requirements documents, scheme compliance responses, and status updates suitable for diverse time zones and audiences.
