Product Manager – BMS Portfolio

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of monitoring market performance for several product categories, including revenue, margin, and competitive landscape.

• Aid in identifying performance deficiencies and assist in formulating corrective actions.

• Collaborate with Sales to collect field insights, customer feedback, and win/loss data.

• Coordinate with Operations, Engineering, and Program Management to ensure product health and maintain business continuity.

• Offer structured feedback and propose roadmap ideas to Product Planning teams.

• Maintain and refresh price performance data and global price lists, recommending pricing strategies that align with market dynamics and performance objectives.

• Partner with Sales and Marketing to provide pricing/promotion guidance, deal support, and value articulation.

• Work alongside Marketing on value messaging, updates to product information, and materials for sales enablement.

• Drive the readiness of new product introduction (NPI) activities and feature updates in collaboration with various business functions.

• Contribute to enhancements in the NPI launch process.

• Help ensure alignment with and achievement of pro-forma sales and profitability goals.

• Organize training and enablement initiatives.

• Identify aging or underperforming products and present recommendations.

• Advocate for the sustaining investment needs of high-performing products.

• Oversee the execution of end-of-life (EOL) plans alongside operations and sales teams.

• Collaborate with Operations and Quality to ensure compliant phase-outs.

• Monitor customer feedback and competitor activities.

• Convert insights into recommendations for pricing or product modifications.

• Facilitate the intake of customer and field feedback to impact portfolio decisions.

• Contribute to the prioritization of sustaining improvements.

• Partner with cross-functional teams to implement project priorities.

• Provide structured input to Product Planners for potential roadmap ideas.

• Contribute to discussions on feature prioritization using data and insights.

• Ensure clear communication regarding product updates, changes, and expectations.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.

• 2–5 years of relevant experience with technical products in a B2B setting.

• Familiarity with fundamental principles of product portfolio management (pricing, positioning, lifecycle execution).

• Strong analytical and communication abilities.

• Capability to informally lead cross-functional teams.
