This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Engage collaboratively with engineering, design, and product management team members to convert high-level feature requirements into detailed and technically robust product specifications.
• Lead the product development lifecycle for your team from initial concept through design, development, release, and subsequent enhancements.
• Ensure product quality and adherence to delivery schedules by managing a prioritized product backlog, and work together with engineering and QA to implement the product roadmap via AGILE sprints.
• Collaborate across functions with partner success and sales teams to promote product adoption and fulfill partner requirements.
• Perform thorough market research and competitor analysis to prevent unnecessary duplication of efforts.
• Partner with the product director to develop a commercially viable product strategy and roadmap.
• Enhance your team’s capabilities and productivity through organized training and effective team management.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in product management.
• Proficient in writing system specifications and requirements (including user stories, acceptance criteria, activity diagrams, class diagrams, entity diagrams, etc.).
• Possess an analytical and data-driven mindset for problem-solving.
• Strong cross-functional communication and team management abilities.
• Project management expertise to ensure high-quality and timely outputs.
• Familiarity with relational data modeling.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Data-driven approach with the ability to utilize data for informed decision-making.
• Strong leadership qualities.
• Willingness to operate in a start-up environment.
• Preferred qualifications: Degree or work experience in software engineering, computer science, information technology, or related fields; knowledge of domain-driven design best practices; experience in B2B sectors or enterprise SaaS companies; entrepreneurial mindset; experience in the Education Technology sector; proficiency in Japanese is a significant advantage.
