Product Management Director

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• This position is responsible for driving the development and implementation of both short- and long-term strategies for the retail bags and sheeting product lines.

• Collaborate across functions to update, convey, and execute the strategic vision for the business.

• Recognize internal and external business requirements along with potential growth opportunities.

• Establish and formulate strategic investment plans aimed at enhancing growth and profitability.

• Lead the team in crafting retailer-specific category growth strategies, which include recommendations for assortment, shelving, merchandising, and product innovation.

• Perform market research to foster innovation and drive growth.

• Oversee all aspects of new product launches and promotional opportunities across customers.

• Manage product and customer pricing along with profitability, collaborating with Finance, Operations, Sourcing, Supply Chain, and Sales.

• Track market pricing and provide insights on the competitive landscape.

• Create clear product positioning and communication strategies; work closely with Marketing and manage product positioning tools.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration is required; MBA is preferred.

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in Product Management within manufacturing or a comparable blend of experience in commercial and finance roles.

• Strong understanding of business functions such as Sales, Finance, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Sourcing.

• High proficiency in MS Office applications is essential.

• Outstanding communication and organizational skills, along with proven abilities in meeting facilitation.

• Capability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.

• Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.
