This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nebraska.

📋 Description

• Implement the go-to-market strategy for digital integrations with an Open API platform, API/APP marketplace, and developer portal ecosystems.

• Collaborate with Fintechs, financial institutions, prospects, and internal stakeholders to drive client value through co-innovation.

• Develop, enhance, and manage enterprise banking services, frameworks, and interfaces.

• Create API schemas, event streams, middleware integration patterns, managed workflows, and orchestrations while following industry standards.

• Oversee roadmaps for digital API portals and the workflows and dashboards of marketplace ecosystems.

• Convert Open API product features into user stories for development, product operations, product support, and client services.

• Shape digital open ecosystems and Agentic AI experiences through market insights, analysis, definition, and communication.

• Transform client product strategies into roadmap features and functional requirements for Open API platforms and products.

• Influence technology decisions for fintech Open API collaborations and marketplaces.

• Lead integrated developer portals and marketplace business models through market research, customer discovery, problem statements, use cases, opportunities, and unique feature sets.

• Address go-to-market necessities for open API marketplaces and manage product roadmaps and launches based on set goals.

• Identify competitive and alternative offerings, assess market opportunities, support investment decisions, and formulate strategies for market success.

• Track and evaluate key performance indicators for Open API ecosystems and marketplaces.

• Prepare departments, documentation, and launch artifacts for the general availability of external products.

• Provide product information to qualified buyers to assist sales efforts.

• Collaborate with Fintech partners to assist in the market entry of their applications.

• Investigate banking business procedures and data exchange processes to aid in standardizing enterprise services.

• Organize and prepare API schema design documentation.

• Work alongside API design and development teams to understand target users and develop user- and use-case-centric products.

• Offer program management across Product Development, DevOps, QA, datacenter/cloud providers, and consulting partners.

• Convey product vision and customer insights to Software Engineering, Implementations, and stakeholders while managing trade-offs.

• Evaluate data, change requests, and enhancements to inform product decisions and prioritization.

• Collaborate with Global Sourcing to identify technology and sales distribution partners along with their product requirements.

• Advocate for the market while articulating how the product vision aligns with market demands across Fiserv.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in Product Management or a related banking field.

• More than 5 years of experience with digital banking products.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills suitable for C-level, technical, and operational audiences.

• Strong thought leadership and capacity to influence through collaboration.

• Proven experience in creating release schedules, ideas, features, roadmaps, and prioritization to support product release strategies.

• Successful track record of guiding products through essential lifecycle stages.

• Robust analytical skills with the ability to build consensus among technology, business analysis, and project management teams.

• Familiarity with cloud architecture and implementation features, encompassing operating systems, multi-tenancy, virtualization, orchestration, and elastic scalability.

• Capacity to establish credibility and rapport with diverse constituencies.

• Results-driven with a proven history of success.

• Capability to engage with Financial Institution and Fintech clients.

• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science, or over 5 years of equivalent experience in a technology, consulting, or Cloud-SaaS organization.

• Preferred: 5+ years of experience in the banking industry.

• Preferred: 5+ years of Fintech and partnership management experience.

• Plus: 2+ years of AI interaction using Claude, OpenAI, or other AI tools.

• Preferred: Experience in developing applications for the financial services industry.

• Over 5 years of experience with various cloud computing platforms, including Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.

• Strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Git, Swagger, XML Tool, Postman, Visio, JIRA, Confluence, and AHA.

• Understanding of application development methodologies.

• Knowledge of SOA, object-oriented analysis and design, and/or client/server systems.

• Experience as a team lead within an Agile Delivery Framework, managing prioritization and client escalations.

• Willingness to travel domestically as required, up to a minimum of 20% of the time.
