This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Formulate product strategy and multi-year roadmaps for optical and electrical interconnect technologies, including co-packaged optics, near-packaged optics, advanced optical packaging, and electrical interconnects.
• Spearhead commercialization initiatives for optical and electrical interfaces, along with related technologies and internal components.
• Develop commercial offerings and pricing frameworks that align with industry standards.
• Create business cases and obtain approvals for new features and initiatives.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to develop product positioning and customer-facing materials, including presentations, data sheets, and competitive analyses.
• Act as the primary liaison between engineering, sales, customers, and external technology partners.
• Evaluate customer needs, technology trends, regulatory factors, and competitive dynamics to inform roadmap decisions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Over 10 years of technical experience in telecommunications or the component industry.
• Experience with high-speed interconnect technologies, including co-packaged optics, near-packaged optics, active electrical and copper cables, coherent, direct detect, SerDes, PHYs, and electro-optics.
• Knowledge of optical and electrical interconnect architectures and emerging component standards.
• Familiarity with component commercialization models, including modules, bare die, and chiplets.
• Proficient in defining commercialization requirements such as SDKs, documentation, and sales enablement frameworks.
• Experience working with cross-functional modem, component, and R&D teams to identify and prioritize features and roadmaps.
• Capability to collect and translate customer and internal stakeholder requirements into product specifications and proposals, including responses to RFIs and RFPs.
• Strong communication and presentation skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to manage multiple initiatives with minimal guidance in a virtual or cross-functional environment.
