This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.
• Collaborate with designers, engineers, and operations to develop and execute the ideal product.
• Partner and align with various business sectors: Marketing, Sales, Brand, and Data.
• Take ownership of the product across both teams, establishing the overall product vision, managing product managers, accelerating experimentation, and guiding Alan's transition to an AI-native Growth Product.
• Define the agenda and deliver on it: Conversational AI that navigates prospects through our sales processes, AI-native acquisition surfaces, and integrating Alan within LLM ecosystems.
• Enhance our culture of experimentation and increase its pace.
• Align the roadmaps for Conversion and Growth Infrastructure, focusing the team's efforts where it will have the most impact.
• Oversee the product managers in the area and contribute to personnel matters across all product communities in that domain (Design, Engineering, Data, Insurance).
• A minimum of 6 years of product-related experience, currently functioning at Lead or Group PM level, or as a Founder. You have directed strategy for an entire area rather than just a single team.
• Proven experience managing product managers directly, including hiring, coaching, providing constructive feedback, and conducting performance reviews. This is a strict requirement, not a developmental expectation.
• Demonstrated success in shipping substantial growth products: conversion, activation, or referral. You understand funnel mathematics and can differentiate between genuine successes and vanity metrics.
• Experimentation is integral to your work style; you engage in A/B testing, statistical significance, and attribution. You can challenge data teams and identify inaccuracies in their analyses.
• Hands-on involvement in the operational aspects: event tracking, funnel analysis, experiment dashboards, and growth instrumentation.
• Familiarity with AI is crucial; whether you have developed AI products or closely follow the industry, you possess a clear understanding of strategic opportunities and the functioning of LLM systems in real-world applications.
• Ability to influence others without direct authority, inspiring distributed teams around a common vision and ensuring alignment among multiple stakeholders across various regions.
• Engage frequently with members and prospects, enjoy these interactions, and allow their feedback to shape your perspective.
• A genuine passion for healthcare is essential. Alan's mission must resonate with you, serving as a core motivator rather than a mere preference.
• Fluency in both French and English is required.
• Competitive compensation. Generous equity packages enhance your base salary, applicable only to permanent contracts.
• Flexible Work Environment. Enjoy an exceptional office space at our headquarters, sponsored co-working locations, or a fully remote experience with home office equipment support, allowing you to reside where you feel happiest.
• Comprehensive tools provided. Receive top-of-the-line equipment: MacBook Pro, keyboard, laptop stand, monitor, and Bose noise-canceling headphones.
• Flexible vacation and working hours. Organize your schedule according to your preferences.
• Excellent healthcare coverage: Extremely comprehensive health insurance—100% for you and your children, and 90–100% for partners depending on your location.
• Transportation benefits. Country-specific commuter perks available.
• Opportunities for learning and training. A highly adaptable training policy, free books, and a budget for attending and speaking at conferences.
• Personal growth through coaching: At Alan, coaching is fundamental to our identity. Every employee is assigned a dedicated coach from day one.
• Parental leave. Extended parental leave for all new parents, applicable only to permanent contracts.
