Product Lead – GIS, Geospatial AI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the vision, roadmap, and strategy for the NeIO GIS product line.

• Identify valuable use cases within GIS workflows, including Spatial analytics & querying, Asset mapping & monitoring, Network planning & optimization, and applications in Land management, utilities, Oil & Gas, and infrastructure.

• Possess a deep understanding of GIS data models (layers, features, spatial queries) and platforms such as ArcGIS, QGIS, PostGIS, and Mapbox.

• Define and manage the product backlog, feature roadmap, and release schedules.

• Collaborate closely with Engineering, AI, and Design teams to: Establish clear requirements, Drive execution, and Ensure scalability and usability.

• Prioritize features based on: Business value, Customer demand, and Technical feasibility.

• Ensure readiness for production, validation of User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and quality of releases.

• Define product positioning, Ideal Customer Profile (ICP), and value proposition.

• Lead the implementation and deployment of GIS solutions for enterprise clients, ensuring clear requirement capture, alignment between product and client needs, and smooth execution and delivery.

• Oversee UAT, gather client feedback, and manage production rollout.

• Act as a liaison between product and delivery teams.

• Remain informed about trends in GIS & geospatial technologies, AI in spatial analytics, and industry-specific GIS applications (Oil & Gas, utilities, telecom, etc.).

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in the GIS / Geospatial domain.

• Strong hands-on expertise in GIS platforms (ESRI, ArcGIS, QGIS, PostGIS, etc.).

• In-depth knowledge of spatial data models and workflows.

• Experience in sectors such as Oil & Gas, Utilities, Telecom, and Infrastructure / Smart Cities.

• Demonstrated experience in product ownership / product management or solution ownership / delivery leadership.

• Proven track record in building or scaling domain-led products/solutions.

• Experience managing the end-to-end lifecycle from ideation to delivery.

• Ability to translate domain challenges into structured product features.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / GIS / related field; an MBA from a Tier-1 institution is preferred.
