This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee and manage the process for introducing new products and services at the enterprise level.
• Assess product information submitted by requestors, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure it is complete, clear, and aligns with enterprise priorities.
• Analyze client demand alongside enterprise capabilities to evaluate potential success and recommend prioritization strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders from Product, Technology, Infrastructure, Sales, and Operations.
• Ensure compliance with intake Service Level Agreements (SLAs) while communicating progress, risks, and escalations.
• Perform impact assessments that encompass affected systems, teams, business processes, and clients.
• Establish request prioritization based on strategic evaluation and alignment with overarching goals.
• Provide executive summaries and guidance on Architecture Review Board (ARB) requirements.
• Guarantee that compliance and governance standards are adhered to throughout the intake process.
• Manage standards for intake documentation and define, monitor, and report Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to intake health and throughput.
• Guide requests from submission through prioritization to hand-off.
• Offer actionable insights on intake trends to senior leadership for portfolio and strategic planning.
• Cultivate and sustain relationships with stakeholders and partners to evaluate impacts, dependencies, and opportunities.
• Stay informed about processing platforms, interdependencies, and organizational intricacies to conduct feasibility assessments.
• Continuously enhance intake processes utilizing Lean-Agile methodologies and portfolio management practices.
• Keep abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and the competitive landscape.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Sales, and Service teams on vendor and client requests.
• Gather business-case requirements including business and technical needs, scope, impacted systems, financial models, client implications, capacity planning, and organizational value.
• Support Phase 1 of the Product Life Cycle (PLC): Initiation, ensuring requests are prepared for subsequent execution.
• Elicit, analyze, and document business and technical requirements for feasibility assessments, architectural reviews, and intake decisions.
• Create intake artifacts such as requirements summaries, scope definitions, and dependency mappings.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or a related field is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
• A minimum of seven (7) years of experience in Business Analysis, Product Management, or related fields is required.
• Five (5) years of experience in financial services or payments processing is preferred.
• Familiarity with Agile/Lean methodologies, epics/features, and backlog refinement is preferred.
• Experience in User Experience and Product Design is considered an asset.
• Capability to facilitate and persuade diverse stakeholders to reach alignment on prioritization and next steps.
• Proficient in effective verbal and written communication, capable of presenting to all levels of leadership.
• Able to plan, track, and manage tasks in a fast-paced, multi-priority environment while meeting deadlines.
• Knowledge of project prioritization, impact analysis, and risk assessment.
• Strong understanding of the card payments industry, core processing platforms, and related in-house applications.
• Excellent analytical abilities.
• Advanced skills in analysis and financial modeling, with the capacity to link intake requests to enterprise value.
• Proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet software applications.
• Willingness to travel as necessary.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive materials.
• Flexibility and capacity to work under high pressure in a complex environment.
