Product Install Engineer – Extensive Travel Required

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Install and qualify advanced KLA systems at global customer locations.

• Ensure that installations are conducted on time and adhere to quality standards.

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues encountered during installation.

• Identify root causes and implement effective solutions accordingly.

• Execute setup, alignment, calibration, and verification of intricate semiconductor capital equipment.

• Collaborate with KLA regions, engineering teams, and customer stakeholders to validate system performance and transfer tool ownership.

• Provide regular status updates to stakeholders throughout the installation process.

• Accurately complete installation documentation and administrative tasks in a timely manner.

• Obtain warranty sign-off for newly installed tools.

• Operate independently while adhering to documented procedures and exercising technical judgment.

• Work under the direction of managers and senior IEs, gradually increasing autonomy.

• Engage effectively in cross-cultural and cross-functional environments.

⛳️ Requirements

• The selected candidate must be available to work 6 days a week, 10 hours a day.

• Significant domestic and international travel is required to support customer installations globally.

• Strong knowledge of electronics, optics, mechanical, electro-mechanical, and electro-optical systems is essential.

• Experience with high-vacuum systems is highly preferred.

• Comfort with computer systems, operating systems, and networking (Windows, Unix, or similar environments) is necessary.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills are a must.

• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication abilities are essential.

• Highly self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented individuals are sought.

• Ability to work effectively across diverse cultures, functions, and geographical locations is necessary.

• ASET minimum degree or equivalent work experience in supporting complex capital equipment in the semiconductor industry is required.
