This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland, +1 more country.
• Conduct pre-installation meetings with clients to identify specific requirements.
• Develop action plans to assess, confirm, and fulfill customer needs.
• Verify deliverables with clients.
• Install equipment at customer locations according to KLA specifications.
• Execute system testing, which includes optical integration, precision alignment, wafer handler robot integration and teaching, alignment and calibration of camera and collection optics, system-level calibrations, performance evaluations, stability and cleanliness assessments, applications verification, and product wafer validation.
• Address complex system challenges using abstract reasoning, data analysis, a seven-step problem-solving framework, and available resources.
• Manage critical issues across various customers and regions.
• Meet with customers post-system testing to assist in tool-performance validation.
• Ensure customer satisfaction through pre-activity briefings, regular updates, escalation procedures, post-activity debriefs, and warranty discussions.
• Conduct installation/customer-centric application testing to validate operational tool quality.
• Provide installation training for new products to global customer support engineering teams.
• Travel to advanced manufacturing facilities and customer sites for new product deployment initiatives.
• Collaborate in diverse teams to achieve project goals.
• A technical degree or diploma in engineering, mechanical, electrical, electronic engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
• 2-3 years of experience in the semiconductor industry is advantageous.
• A strong skill set in optical, mechanical, electronic, lithography, metrology, and laser technology is preferred.
• Excellent technical and analytical abilities.
• Capability to comprehend and resolve issues in software and electronic, optical, mechanical, electro-mechanical, or electro-optical systems.
• Understanding of computer theory and operating systems, including MS Windows.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive under pressure and meet project deadlines.
• Willingness to travel internationally.
• Required domestic and international travel, including to the United States.
