Product Engineer III

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and deploy full-stack features across various AI-driven products, encompassing agentic music production and audio ML applications such as voice conversion, synthesis, and composition.

• Collaborate closely with Product Managers and designers to transform initial concepts into shipped products swiftly, taking full ownership from ticket creation to production.

• Integrate and implement audio ML models in production while creating user-facing interfaces that bring these models to life.

• Design agents and AI-enabled workflows that perform substantial, meaningful tasks within the product.

• Utilize agentic coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex) as an essential part of your daily development routine.

• Take full ownership of features from prototyping to production, including reliability monitoring and iterative improvements.

• Maintain code quality and architectural standards, even while working at a rapid pace, by reviewing diffs line by line and writing tests for production-facing pull requests.

• Contribute to an evolving codebase that integrates reliability monitoring and delivers a measurable weekly impact on shipped features.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in startup or early-stage product roles where you managed substantial scope and delivered tangible products.

• Ability to decompose problems—clarifying scope, edge cases, and constraints before writing any code.

• Proficiency in AI fluency and control—guiding the model, crafting targeted prompts, dismissing unhelpful suggestions, and recognizing when to refrain from using AI.

• Strong verification discipline—thoroughly reviewing diffs line by line for production pull requests, executing the code, writing tests, and identifying hallucinations before deployment.

• Architectural judgment—evaluating the blast radius, scalability, and trade-offs for every significant technical decision.

• Effective communication—conveying technical decisions, obstacles, and outcomes clearly to both humans and agents.

• Proficient in React, Next.js, and TypeScript for frontend development, as well as Node.js/TypeScript for backend development.
