Product Engineer – Endpoint Security

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and enhance endpoint security measures.

• Assess and evaluate emerging endpoint security technologies.

• Create security standards and establish endpoint hardening baselines.

• Offer technical support for security initiatives related to endpoints.

• Analyze system security vulnerabilities, potential threats, and overall risk factors.

• Assist engineers in deploying security tools tailored for DevOps/SecOps practices.

• Engage in Design & Build IT projects, steering configurations towards best-in-class security practices.

• Collaborate with Senior Security Engineers/Architects on proof of concept and implementation of security solutions.

• Provide support for security and compliance initiatives involving cloud technology, operating systems, applications, databases, and security mandates.

• Advocate for DevOps/SecOps methodologies and facilitate communication regarding organizational changes.

• Manage, optimize, and provide support for CrowdStrike Falcon, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, and BeyondTrust PAM.

• Collaborate with Cyber Operations, Infrastructure, Desktop Engineering, and Identity teams to enhance detection capabilities, automate security processes, and fortify the security posture.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in cybersecurity, endpoint security, or security engineering.

• At least 1 year of experience in administering Anti-Virus/Endpoint Detection Response solutions.

• Proven experience in investigating security incidents and supporting incident response efforts.

• A minimum of 1 year of experience with PowerShell, Python, or similar scripting languages (or equivalent).

• Familiarity with APIs and automation processes.

• Experience with privileged access management systems.

• Basic knowledge of GitHub and best practices in version control.

• Experience with Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR) platforms.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Sentinel or other SIEM tools.

• Background in implementing AI-assisted security operations or security copilots.

• Background investigation required.

• A reliable internet connection with a minimum of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload speeds.

• A dedicated, private workspace free from distractions, equipped with a suitable desk and seating for remote work.
