Product Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Transform broad, high-level objectives into delivered, functional software with minimal oversight.

• Take full ownership of extensive projects from start to finish: decompose the problem, organize the tasks, and see them through to completion.

• Make independent decisions regarding UX and project scope — discern what is valuable to build and what can be omitted.

• Engage in rapid iteration cycles — deliver functional solutions quickly and refine them based on actual feedback.

• Utilize agentic coding tools (such as Claude Code, Codex, or similar) as a fundamental part of your daily processes — assign routine tasks to these tools and guide them towards effective results.

• Identify and communicate obstacles, trade-offs, and decisions promptly and transparently, without requiring management intervention.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4-5+ years of professional experience in software development — strong engineering principles form the basis upon which agency and product understanding are built.

• Demonstrated high agency: a history of transforming ambiguous objectives into tangible results without relying on detailed specifications.

• Proficient in modern AI-assisted or agentic development workflows (e.g., Claude Code, Codex, etc.).

• Full-stack capabilities — comfortable working across the entire stack, not restricted to a single layer.

• Strong product intuition — able to think about user experience and priorities like a product owner, rather than just an engineer following specifications.

• Adaptable in uncertain, fast-paced, early-stage environments.

• Proven history of launching side projects, rapid prototypes, or developing new concepts from scratch.

• Clear and concise communicator — provides low-overhead updates, eliminating the need for frequent check-ins.
