Product Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Create refined product experiences for users utilizing Resend.

• Simplify intricate technical concepts into user-friendly, clear, and reliable experiences.

• Take full responsibility for features from start to finish: product ideation, UX details, implementation, monitoring, launch, and refinement.

• Work closely with design, engineering, and customer success teams to grasp user challenges and deliver high-quality solutions.

• Develop debugging and observability tools that assist users in understanding the status of their emails, webhooks, domains, and API requests.

• Engage with users to comprehend their pain points and translate those insights into improved product decisions.

• Contribute to enhancing the standards for craftsmanship, performance, accessibility, reliability, and product quality at Resend.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess 6+ years of experience in developing and launching high-quality web products.

• Be proficient in both written and spoken English.

• Have substantial experience with TypeScript, React, and contemporary frontend development practices.

• Be comfortable navigating across the technology stack, including APIs, databases, server-side logic, and product infrastructure.

• Demonstrate a strong commitment to UX, attention to interaction details, and product refinement.

• Ability to transform vague customer issues into clear, actionable solutions.

• Exhibit strong product judgment.

• Enjoy assisting developers and prioritize developer experience.

• Be at ease in tackling open-ended problems and ambiguous situations.

• Maintain a “default to action” approach.

• Be hands-on and relish the challenge of solving problems directly.

• Have a low-ego attitude and value collaboration with design, engineering, and customer success teams.
