Product Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Develop and deliver comprehensive product features encompassing frontend, backend, and internal tools.

• Collaborate closely with customers and internal stakeholders to define product features and create end-to-end prototypes and solutions.

• Engage directly with users and government representatives to gain insights into workflows and identify pain points.

• Take ownership of projects from the discovery phase through to launch and subsequent iterations.

• Design scalable systems, APIs, workflows, and data models.

• Rapidly create prototypes for AI-driven features and operational tools.

• Enhance developer experience, product reliability, and overall system performance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of software engineering experience combined with product ownership.

• Proven experience collaborating with customers and stakeholders to establish product vision.

• Strong full-stack development skills utilizing modern web technologies.

• Background in high-ownership startup or growth-stage settings.

• A product-oriented mindset, focusing on customer outcomes, usability, and business impact.

• Ability to act swiftly with sound judgment and minimal supervision.

• Excellent communication skills and comfort in cross-functional collaboration.

• Experience in balancing speed with sustainable engineering practices.

• Ability to navigate ambiguity and help establish structure when necessary.

• Familiarity with TypeScript, JavaScript, React, Node.js, Python, PostgreSQL, AWS, REST APIs, and AI/LLM tools and integrations.
