Product Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop AI product experiences from initial concept through prototyping, validation, and implementation.

• Collaborate with users, product managers, designers, researchers, engineers, and customer-facing teams to pinpoint high-impact opportunities.

• Convert vague customer requirements and product ideas into well-defined workflows, interfaces, and technical designs.

• Enhance and refine the workflows for AI agent development, testing, evaluation, monitoring, and optimization.

• Leverage product data, user feedback, and evaluation results to discern what is effective and what requires improvement.

• Produce clear demonstrations, product documentation, technical documents, and recommendations that assist teams in aligning and accelerating their progress.

• Assist in establishing the product and technical standards for AI-native experiences at Cresta.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience as a software/ML engineer on user-facing systems with robust full-stack engineering capabilities.

• Proven experience in building and delivering products or significant features with substantial end-to-end ownership.

• Practical experience with LLMs, AI agents, AI workflows, or applied ML products.

• Strong product judgment and the ability to distill complex technical concepts into intuitive user experiences.

• Comfort in navigating ambiguous problem areas where the correct solution is not immediately clear.

• Ability to swiftly transition from concept to prototype while upholding strong engineering principles.

• Excellent communication skills, particularly when articulating technical concepts to cross-functional teams.
