Product Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Costa Rica.

📋 Description

• Lead the design and creation of cutting-edge web and mobile applications

• Primarily concentrate on backend development using Python

• Design scalable and reusable backend architectures utilizing frameworks such as Django or FastAPI

• Develop robust APIs while ensuring high standards of performance, reliability, and security

• Collaborate across departments with product managers, designers, and stakeholders

• Enhance application performance and address challenges related to data processing and system integrations

• Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in software development

• Strong backend development skills in Python

• Proficient in Python, Django/FastAPI, PostgreSQL, Redis, and cloud infrastructure (preferably AWS)

• Experience with React, React Native, and JavaScript/TypeScript

• Familiarity with AI tools to enhance development productivity and automation

• Strong analytical abilities with a proven history of resolving complex problems

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
