Product Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Oversee the design and creation of cutting-edge web and mobile applications.

• Primarily concentrate on backend development (70%) utilizing Python, while also contributing to frontend efforts (30%) with React and React Native.

• Design scalable and reusable backend architectures employing frameworks such as Django or FastAPI.

• Develop robust APIs while maintaining high standards for performance, reliability, and security.

• Work collaboratively with product managers, designers, and stakeholders throughout the entire process from concept through to deployment.

• Enhance application performance and manage challenges associated with data processing and system integrations.

• Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers, encouraging best practices.

• Leverage AI tools to optimize development workflows and improve product features.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years in software development, with a strong focus on backend proficiency in Python and solid knowledge of frontend technologies.

• Expertise in Python, Django/FastAPI, PostgreSQL, Redis, and cloud infrastructure (preferably AWS).

• Familiarity with React, React Native, JavaScript/TypeScript, and an understanding of mobile CI/CD as well as performance best practices.

• Comfortable using AI tools to enhance developer productivity and automation.

• Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to resolve complex problems and deliver high-quality outcomes.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the capability to collaborate effectively in a remote environment.

• Focused on user experience and adept at transforming business requirements into scalable technological solutions.

• Self-motivated, proactive, and at ease working in a distributed, agile startup environment.
