Product Development Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of Javvy’s Stage Gate product development framework, ensuring projects transition smoothly from concept to commercialization.

• Establish, document, and uphold clear deliverables, timelines, and decision-making points at every development stage.

• Facilitate gate reviews and ensure alignment among all cross-functional stakeholders before advancing projects.

• Continuously enhance the Stage Gate process to boost speed, accountability, and clarity across teams.

• Create and oversee comprehensive product development timelines encompassing formulation, packaging, regulatory compliance, manufacturing, and launch preparations.

• Monitor milestones, dependencies, and risks to ensure projects remain on track.

• Actively identify obstacles and coordinate solutions across teams.

• Maintain clear documentation and project visibility for leadership.

• Act as the primary communication hub among Product Development, Marketing, Operations, Finance, and Supply Chain.

• Ensure every team comprehends their deliverables, timelines, and responsibilities.

• Foster alignment on product specifications, launch schedules, packaging requirements, and operational readiness.

• Collaborate with internal teams to guarantee completion of all launch prerequisites, including: product specifications, packaging development, manufacturing readiness, costing and margin alignment, and regulatory and labeling approvals.

• Assist in launch readiness to enable a seamless transition from development to production.

• Enhance workflows, documentation, and systems utilized for product development management.

• Create tools and dashboards that provide leadership with insights into project timelines and progress.

• Discover opportunities to accelerate launch velocity without compromising quality.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4–7 years of experience in product development, R&D, or project management, preferably in CPG, food & beverage, or consumer products.

• Proven experience managing cross-functional product launches from concept through to market introduction.

• Strong grasp of product development workflows and stage gate methodologies.

• Outstanding project management and organizational capabilities (Notion, ClickUp, Smartsheet, Asana, MS Project, or similar tools).

• Ability to coordinate multiple projects concurrently in a dynamic environment.

• Highly detail-oriented with a strong commitment to follow-through.

• Excellent communication skills to keep teams aligned and accountable.

• Experience in food & beverage or CPG product development.

• Knowledge of manufacturing timelines, packaging development, and regulatory standards.

• Familiarity with contract manufacturers or co-packers.

• Passionate about coffee or health-oriented consumer products.
