This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the entire product development lifecycle from initial concept to pilot execution and transition into scalable solutions:
• Collaborate across functions with ASG team members and field leadership to test and enhance innovative jobsite solutions.
• Work in conjunction with regional teams to ensure readiness for deployment and optimize adoption across the organization.
• Coordinate closely with Sourcing and IT to verify solution viability and compatibility within the operational framework.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders to prototype and assess new technologies, utilizing insights to inform product refinement:
• Recognize emerging technologies that meet customer demands and align with core business objectives emphasizing safety, productivity, and sustainability.
• Test new technologies with internal teams and chosen customers to confirm effectiveness and scalability.
• Continuously improve solutions based on field feedback and practical performance to guarantee maximum customer value.
• Assist in developing the go-to-market strategy and coordinate rollout plans with the Customer Success team for seamless implementation.
• Serve as one of ASG's subject matter experts (SMEs) and primary contact for the evolving portfolio of innovative technologies and solutions.
• Aid in the creation and presentation of strategic proposals, including financial assessments, alternative analyses, and market evaluations.
• Strengthen ties with sales teams to enhance field-level engagement and value delivery.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• A bachelor’s degree is preferred; advanced technical or business training is a plus.
• 5+ years of experience in product development, project management, or research and development (R&D).
• Proven experience in introducing and managing complex technical solutions within customer environments.
• Demonstrated capability to create strategic proposals and implement business-oriented rollout plans.
• Strong knowledge of construction technologies, including IoT, AI, and sensor-based systems.
• Experience with telematics and connected technologies such as Bluetooth, Zigbee, LoRaWAN, GPS, cellular, access management, robotics, and RFID is preferred.
• Track record of successful cross-functional collaboration and team-oriented environments.
• Familiarity with United Rentals’ internal systems and existing relationships across multiple regions is highly beneficial.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint and Excel.
• Solid understanding of civil construction practices.
• Knowledge of site access, equipment access, and worker insight offerings.
• Ability to establish and maintain relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
