This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Adapt standardized practices and templates (Phase-Gate, NPI, PRDs) established by the Senior Global PM to align with specific subsidiary engineering sprints.
• Act as a hands-on consultant to Product Managers at Teal, FlightWave, Blue Ops, Apium, and others, assisting them in overcoming technical challenges and resource limitations.
• Actively seek out opportunities for "shared wins," such as incorporating a sensor suite created by Teal Drones into a FlightWave airframe to minimize redundant R&D expenditures.
• Manage the mid-level project milestones that contribute to the Red Cat Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), ensuring the accuracy of data and the integrity of timelines.
• Lead the preparation for essential "Phase-Gate" reviews, making sure that subsidiary teams have the appropriate documentation and validation ready for executive endorsement.
• Offer direction and delegate tasks to the Associate Product Manager (Global Support) to ensure timely completion of reporting and research responsibilities.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical, product, or project management discipline. Acceptable fields include: Business Administration, Engineering, Manufacturing, Marketing, or Operations.
• 4–6 years of experience in product management or technical program management, with a strong emphasis on hardware-software integration.
• 8-10 years of directly relevant work experience may be considered in place of a degree.
• Demonstrated capability to execute complex development lifecycles (Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid) in a dynamic environment.
• Competence in building relationships and driving outcomes with engineering teams that are part of various business units.
• Comfortable discussing product requirements, specifications, development planning & processes, UAV/USV components, GCS software, sensor payloads, and dynamics of maritime/aerial vehicles.
• Proficient in using Jira, Confluence, and portfolio management tools (e.g., Smartsheet or MS Project).
• Must be capable of walking, standing, and moving through large indoor and outdoor facilities for extended durations.
• Ability to lift, transport, and handle materials and equipment weighing up to 25 lbs on a regular basis.
• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required in specific areas or while performing certain tasks, in accordance with safety protocols and company policies.
• May need to climb ladders, stoop, kneel, or crouch during inspections, maintenance walkthroughs, or emergency response scenarios.
• Regular exposure to facility operations, including noise, dust, temperature variations, and industrial machinery.
• Occasional off-hours or weekend work may be necessary for emergency facility responses or projects as required.
• Frequent use of a computer and other standard office equipment is necessary for documentation, communication, and coordination tasks.
