Product Designer – Web

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Take complete ownership of web product experiences from start to finish;

• Assume full design responsibility for key web flows, harmonizing user needs, business objectives, and technical limitations across the entire interface;

• Adopt a test-and-learn approach informed by data, usability insights, and user feedback;

• Collaborate with your Product Managers, technical lead, and engineering teams to co-create optimal solutions and ensure seamless transitions;

• Engage with various Sword teams and fellow designers to uphold consistency;

• Contribute to the overall Design System;

• Thoughtfully utilize AI tools to enhance your workflow where appropriate, and design AI-driven product experiences that combine Human + AI for improved patient outcomes;

• Maintain a curious mindset to explore what works, what doesn’t, and the reasons behind it.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in product design, particularly focused on web flows, multi-step experiences, or user-facing products;

• A portfolio that highlights measurable impact (before/after, metrics), showcases discernible taste and craftsmanship, and presents a distinct perspective rather than merely a process overview;

• Advanced skills in Figma and the ability to create prototypes quickly;

• Strong knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and a dedication to inclusive design;

• Capability to read and analyze data;

• Familiarity with design systems;

• Thoughtful integration of AI in your design process—knowing when it is beneficial and when it is not;

• Experience in designing AI-led product experiences.
