Product Designer, Places

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee, enhance, and document our Figma design system, guaranteeing that components remain clean, consistent, and ready for implementation.

• Create clear and detailed design specifications for engineering teams to facilitate feature development.

• Support senior designers in developing user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity assets.

• Regularly review components, patterns, and screens to pinpoint inconsistencies or areas for improvement.

• Work closely with engineers to ensure components are accurately implemented and function as intended.

• Advocate for best practices in accessibility, scalability, and visual consistency across Raya and Places.

• Engage in design critiques, providing feedback and proposing system-level solutions to design problems.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 2–4 years of experience in product or UI/UX design, with a background in design systems and component-based design.

• Proficiency in Figma, with experience in working with libraries, variants, and organized design files.

• Exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational abilities, and a systematic approach to problem-solving.

• Capability to convert requirements into precise, clean design specifications for engineering teams.

• A portfolio showcasing UI design skills, experience with design systems, and a solid grasp of scalable design patterns.

• A degree in Design, HCI, or comparable experience.
