Product Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Gain a deep understanding of the needs of crypto and fintech users, as well as the market landscape in this domain.

• Gather insights through confirmatory research and data-driven analysis by learning directly from users.

• Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and system analysts to collect requirements, define and detail feature designs, and support these through to product release.

• Work in close partnership with the engineering team — engage in refinements, supply specifications, manage edge cases, and ensure fidelity between design and code.

• Sustain and enhance the current design system, including foundations, components, and patterns.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess over 5 years of experience in product design, specifically within established tech products (not in 0→1 startups).

• Demonstrate strong experience in collaborating with development teams — adept at handing off designs, navigating technical limitations, and iterating alongside engineers.

• Focus on user experience and interface design rather than solely on strategic or conceptual design — you are a doer who delivers, not just a thinker who presents ideas.

• Have experience in designing products across multiple platforms (web/native, desktop/mobile).

• Exhibit high emotional intelligence — you provide and receive feedback with grace, communicate effectively, and cultivate trust among cross-functional colleagues.

• Clearly articulate your ideas to the team using your pitching skills, supported by well-structured slides or guidelines.

• Champion the best user experience, even if it requires challenging engineers and product managers to ensure optimal UX solutions.

• Demonstrate expertise in visual and interactive design.

• Be proficient in Figma: including advanced prototyping of complex user flows, developing design system components and automations, rapid prototyping, and UI Kit automations.

• Nice to have: Experience with design system foundations such as tokens, grid systems, typography scales, and component architecture.

• Have a background in fintech or crypto product design.

• Show enthusiasm for AI — actively utilize AI tools beyond Figma to enhance your workflow and explore innovative design methodologies.
