Product Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Zealand.

📋 Description

• Provide exceptional product design for intricate products within a collaborative, cross-functional team.

• Employ insight-driven strategies to address significant user challenges and enhance user experiences.

• Lead UX initiatives throughout the product lifecycle, working closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Research teams.

• Organize and execute validation efforts, including user testing, to guide iterations and design choices.

• Establish and assess UX success metrics that align with product and business objectives.

• Foster strong stakeholder alignment through effective communication, collaboration, and sharing of insights and ongoing work.

• Contribute positively to team culture, rituals, onboarding processes, and continuous improvement initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in SaaS product design, with a robust portfolio showcasing user-centered projects.

• Demonstrated ability to produce comprehensive design solutions, from problem identification and research to testing, delivery, and evaluation.

• Proficiency in a variety of UX practices, including journey mapping, prototyping, user testing, analytics, and design systems.

• Strong visual design capabilities with experience in crafting responsive web and iOS interfaces.

• Inquisitive and insight-oriented, with a background in contributing to discovery research and understanding user needs.

• Adept at resolving complex issues, iterating based on feedback, and collaborating in fast-paced agile teams.

• Excellent communication skills, capable of navigating ambiguity, with a growth mindset and a cooperative approach.
