Product Data Scientist – 6-month project

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• You oversee the entire analytical process within your area, from formulating hypotheses to making recommendations.

• You establish appropriate metrics, develop accurate models, and ensure that your insights drive decision-making.

• Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and Senior Leaders to influence strategy.

• Convert vague business challenges into specific analytical tasks and deliver actionable insights.

• Spearhead experimentation within your area, designing tests, assessing opportunities, analyzing results, and fostering a culture of evidence-based iteration.

• Develop self-service dashboards and data tools.

• Standardize and define metrics so that everyone relies on the same source of truth.

• Document your processes and advocate for consistent data practices throughout the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Significant experience in an analytical capacity, preferably in a product-driven or digitally native setting.

• Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (Python or R); experience with dbt is crucial.

• Practical experience with BI tools such as Lightdash, Looker, or Tableau.

• A proven ability to influence decisions, with the skill to narrate a compelling, data-driven story to stakeholders at all levels.

• Strong skills in experiment design and statistical reasoning, with an understanding of when data reveals meaningful insights.

• Ability to work across teams and juggle multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.

• A genuine curiosity about user behavior and a desire to comprehend the reasons behind the data.
