Product, Corporate Counsel – Assistant General Counsel

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver specialized legal advice on the development of products related to stablecoins, payment systems, blockchain technology, and digital asset services.

• Provide guidance on intricate financial services regulations, including BSA/AML/CFT compliance, sanctions, intellectual property, data privacy, and cybersecurity.

• Assist with both domestic and international licensing, regulatory strategies, and engage with regulators worldwide.

• Draft and negotiate complex commercial agreements.

• Aid in corporate governance and venture capital financing.

• Convert shifting regulatory requirements into practical business recommendations.

• Oversee multiple high-stakes legal initiatives in a dynamic and uncertain setting.

• Work collaboratively across departments and manage external legal counsel.

⛳️ Requirements

• Juris Doctor degree from a prestigious ABA-accredited law school.

• Active membership in the U.S. bar.

• 5-7 years of pertinent legal experience in financial services or digital assets.

• Profound knowledge of financial regulation, commercial transactions, and corporate governance.

• Familiarity with stablecoin issuance, digital asset custody, or blockchain infrastructure is advantageous.
