This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Ensure the diverse range of products provided by the company meets safety standards, is of high quality, and adheres to all relevant mandatory and industry-specific product regulations.
• Collaborate with our product development and design teams to guarantee that all products meet the requirements of target markets.
• Develop and manage product compliance and quality control policies for all proprietary brands.
• Create and enforce ethical sourcing policies for all proprietary brands, ensuring compliance from our suppliers and supply chains.
• Coordinate and supervise product testing and evaluation as necessary.
• Provide assistance and advice on compliant packaging and labeling in accordance with relevant regulations.
• Examine all samples and packaging during the development phase to verify compliance.
• Inspect final production items and packaging upon delivery to confirm compliance.
• Proficiency in quality assurance and quality control processes, along with knowledge of ethical sourcing requirements and procedures.
• A comprehensive understanding of Australia’s product safety regulatory framework, including the Australian Consumer Law and applicable mandatory and industry product standards; familiarity with art supplies and/or toys and infant products is highly valued.
• Knowledge of US and EU product safety standards and consumer laws (preferably with experience in art supplies and/or toys and infant products).
• Capability to apply the aforementioned standards to both new and existing products, and to create suitable labeling and packaging accordingly.
• Insight into manufacturing and product development, including product testing methodologies.
• Strong attention to detail and technical skills.
• Good judgment and the ability to assess risks, articulating justifications for decisions or approaches.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with various teams within the company and with our suppliers and industry organizations.
