Product Builder

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of challenges, not just tasks. Engage directly with restaurant operators to uncover the true sources of friction. Determine what needs to be built next and execute it.

• Manage the entire process. Design the user experience, architect the system, write the code, and take responsibility for the final product. You will be accountable for the complete journey from insight to deployed product.

• Act swiftly and deliver outstanding results. Leveraging AI enables us to develop solutions ten times faster than in the past. Utilize this advantage to enhance product quality.

• Influence our product strategy. Your insights into customer needs should shape our roadmap, extending beyond just the immediate sprint. We seek product thinkers rather than mere ticket processors.

• Uphold high standards of craftsmanship. Write clean, maintainable code and create intuitive, aesthetically pleasing user experiences.

• Cultivate relationships with users. Engage with operators, share ideas, and get to know them personally. Collaborate with them in real time to refine solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in developing and launching software products.

• You have assumed various roles: thinking like a product manager, building like an engineer, and focusing on user experience like a designer.

• Proficient in TypeScript; comfortable working within our frontend (React, Next.js) and/or backend (Node.js, MongoDB) technology stacks.

• Naturally inclined to use AI tools: you leverage these resources to accelerate your work, improve code quality, and explore solutions that you may not have achieved independently.

• A proven history of successfully delivering comprehensive projects that you take pride in.

• Authentic empathy for customers: you have engaged directly with users, rather than solely relying on support tickets.

• Demonstrate a high degree of initiative: you identify issues, make decisions, and take action without needing direction.

• Collaborative by nature: former colleagues in product, design, and business would commend your teamwork.

• You have a systems-thinking mindset: you grasp how your contributions align with the broader product vision and actively enhance the technical frameworks that benefit the entire team.

• Previous experience in a product-centric startup or a rapidly growing technology firm.
