Product Analytics Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Take responsibility for the company’s Product Analytics platform (PostHog), ensuring its growth, governance, and integration across teams.

• Create, document, and refine the product tracking strategy.

• Establish taxonomy, naming conventions, and standards for product events.

• Guarantee the quality, consistency, and reliability of behavioral data.

• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to define and execute product events.

• Validate implementations, identify discrepancies, and oversee corrections.

• Track platform usage, event-related expenses, and opportunities for optimization.

• Conduct analyses of user behavior, funnels, activation, retention, feature adoption, and navigation paths.

• Develop dashboards and analyses to inform Product decisions.

• Correlate behavioral data with business metrics such as revenue, churn, plans, segments, and platform usage.

• Assist PMs in establishing success metrics and experimentation hypotheses.

• Engage in the definition, monitoring, and evaluation of A/B tests and ongoing user experience enhancement initiatives.

• Act as an internal resource for Product Analytics.

• Aid PMs, Designers, and Engineering in adopting best practices for instrumentation and analysis.

• Produce documentation, standards, and materials that enhance the organization’s analytical maturity.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Hands-on experience with Product Analytics.

• Familiarity with implementing or managing Product Analytics tools such as PostHog, Amplitude, Mixpanel, Heap, or similar.

• Experience in creating or maintaining tracking plans, taxonomy, and event documentation.

• Proven track record of working closely with Product and Engineering teams to define and implement events.

• Proficient SQL skills.

• Strong communication skills to effectively translate technical challenges into product decisions.

• Analytical, organized, and proactive profile with a strong sense of ownership.

• Capable of leading initiatives that involve multiple stakeholders.
