This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
β’ Estimating and negotiating change orders throughout the construction lifecycle.
β’ Providing detailed estimates and cost planning.
β’ Reviewing and actively engaging with the design team in the development and validation of cost estimates.
β’ Regularly interfacing with the general contractor and client stakeholders to obtain project updates.
β’ Preparing clear and concise written reviews of contractor submissions.
β’ Managing cost checks and conducting valuations on large-scale civil and infrastructure projects.
β’ Supporting post-contract cost control, including change management and governance processes.
β’ Developing and maintaining cost plans throughout the design progression.
β’ Compiling and maintaining cost data and benchmarks.
β’ Identifying, coaching, and mentoring team members.
β’ A bachelorβs degree in construction management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a related field.
β’ A minimum of 6β7 years of relevant experience in cost management within the construction industry.
β’ RICS accreditation or actively pursuing accreditation is preferred.
β’ A strong understanding of construction methods, procurement strategies, and commercial management principles.
β’ Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
β’ Candidates must be physically located in the United States and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
