Senior Data Scientist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Provide expertise in Machine Learning/Artificial Intelligence, particularly in NLP (Natural Language Processing) and LLMs (Large Language Models), to support technical and product decisions.

• Create, implement, and uphold data and ML pipelines that encompass training, evaluation, and inference, with a continuous focus on performance, reliability, and best practices.

• Combine traditional Machine Learning methods with other AI solutions to address intricate, business-specific challenges.

• Suggest and execute technological advancements relating to NLP, LLMs, and cloud solutions (AWS).

• Ensure that deliverables are robust, scalable, and yield measurable impacts, ideally in Big Data environments.

• Collaborate proactively with product, engineering, and business teams, translating challenges into AI/NLP solutions that provide tangible, measurable benefits.

⛳️ Requirements

• Advanced expertise in Python and prominent Machine Learning libraries such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or equivalent.

• Practical experience in NLP and working with Large Language Models.

• In-depth understanding of data and ML pipeline architectures, including stages of training, evaluation, and inference.

• Knowledge of AWS for distributed data processing and model deployment in production environments.

• Capability to implement modern, production-ready ML/AI engineering practices.

• Experience with Big Data and distributed processing technologies (e.g., Spark), including the construction of batch and streaming pipelines.

• Relevant background in MLOps/LLMOps, covering areas such as experiment tracking, model registry, observability, monitoring, and drift detection.
