
Producer – Transactional Risk Sales

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +4 more states.
• Identify and engage new business opportunities through both internal and external contacts.
• Offer insurance expertise related to the acquisition and disposition of assets and businesses.
• Negotiate options for transactional risk insurance coverage with insurance carriers, clients, and their legal representatives.
• Review transaction and due diligence documents to comprehend target company profiles and provide initial terms.
• Assess “critical flaws” that may affect the transaction and collaborate closely with the legal team on coverage or contractual risk management concerns.
• Utilize extensive experience, knowledge, and data to navigate complex situations effectively.
• Act as the primary client contact for insurance opportunities from the initial engagement to the closing and policy issuance.
• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Juris Doctor (JD) preferred.
• 5-7 years of proven success in the Commercial Title/Commercial Real Estate industry.
• Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Expertise in building and maintaining client relationships.
• Strong written and oral communication abilities.
• Outstanding interpersonal, customer service, sales, and relationship management skills.
• Possession of a Property & Casualty license and Excess/Surplus Lines license, or the capability to obtain these licenses within the first 60 days of employment.
• The ideal candidate will have five or more years of M&A experience in roles such as attorney, transactional risk broker, underwriter, accountant, investment banker, or similar deal professional.
