This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.
• Take a lead role in risk management by utilizing our client Risk Assessment Platform and a consultative method to assist sports organizations in understanding their risk exposure.
• Identify, cultivate, and establish new relationships with sports organizations, clubs, leagues, associations, and governing bodies.
• Maintain a thorough and up-to-date knowledge of the youth and amateur sports landscape.
• Develop and oversee a robust and active sales pipeline across targeted segments using our CRM/AMS (Applied Epic).
• Manage the entire sales process: outreach, discovery, risk assessment presentation, proposal creation, negotiation, and closing deals.
• Cross-sell and upsell within Players Health’s array of insurance products and risk management services.
• Build and nurture deep, trusting relationships with sports administrators and risk managers.
• Provide education to clients and prospects regarding insurance, risk management, and athlete safety.
• Enhance renewals and retention through consistent engagement with clients.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial insurance sales, with a proven ability to develop and expand a book of business.
• Active Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance license, in good standing.
• Proven success in a quota-carrying, high-activity sales position, demonstrating clear and measurable outcomes.
• Familiarity with General Liability (GL) lines and commercial insurance products.
• Previous experience in developing and implementing a sales strategy to consistently achieve or surpass targets.
• Proficient in using agency CRM/AMS (Applied Epic preferred) or similar sales and customer management systems.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities; strong interpersonal presence and negotiation skills.
• Demonstrated resilience and adaptability; effective in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
• Proven ability to adhere to processes and procedures while identifying areas for improvement.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with a commitment to accurate and timely data entry.
• Comfortable operating in uncertain situations; driven by delivering solutions rather than avoiding challenges.
• Display integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality at all times.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software applications.
