Procurement Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Efficiently processes purchase orders and supplier invoices, ensuring that all data is accurately entered into internal systems and aligns with contractual agreements.

• Aids procurement operations by collecting and verifying vendor documentation, quotes, and pricing to guarantee adherence to internal controls and approval processes.

• Uploads and verifies invoices on the relevant platforms, ensuring coding precision and consistency with purchase orders and receipts.

• Tracks open purchase orders and delivery schedules to monitor supplier performance and escalate any potential delays or discrepancies.

• Works collaboratively with Finance, Fulfillment, and Inbound teams to swiftly resolve any mismatches between invoices and receipts.

• Keeps supplier records and documentation (e.g., W9 forms, insurance certificates, contracts) in compliance with audit and regulatory requirements.

• Assists in sourcing and evaluating suppliers by gathering quotes, comparing pricing, and preparing summary data for review by Procurement Managers.

• Engages in process improvement initiatives aimed at minimizing manual tasks, enhancing data accuracy, and reducing cycle times.

• Develops foundational knowledge in procurement systems (e.g., NetSuite, Coupa, or SAP), contract compliance, and category management to facilitate future career advancement.

⛳️ Requirements

• You possess 0–2 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or a related operations or administrative position.

• You have a basic understanding of procurement processes, purchase orders, and invoice workflows.

• You demonstrate a keen attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and document management.

• You are skilled in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets; familiarity with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, or similar) is advantageous.

• You exhibit strong communication and teamwork skills to work effectively across various teams.
