This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist the Procurement Manager by offering procurement technical guidance to banks in alignment with established procurement strategies.
• Oversee daily appraisal orders.
• Develop and nurture relationships with a specific group of clients.
• Attend onboarding meetings with clients and provide advice to newcomers.
• Deliver customer service to clients, vendors, and colleagues.
• Engage in client calls or meetings as needed.
• Work with the Customer Success Team to relay client information.
• Respond accurately and swiftly to inquiries and messages from clients and appraisers.
• Escalate challenging, complex, or unique assignments to the Procurement Manager.
• Review new orders for accuracy and completeness, obtaining further information as necessary.
• Choose and assign appraisers in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Support team members with their orders.
• Follow Procurement processes and procedures diligently.
• Address inquiries related to bids.
• Review and present bids to clients.
• Request necessary documents or information to facilitate appraisal orders.
• Source appraisal bids for intricate orders.
• Follow up with appraisers to ensure timely delivery of reports.
• Communicate updates from appraisers to clients.
• Participate in weekly team meetings.
• Experience in appraisal within financial institutions and/or real-estate appraisal ordering experience from a financial institution.
• A Certified General appraiser license is preferred.
• Proven knowledge of valuation methods, techniques, and forms.
• Understanding of property rights, including fee simple, leased fee, and leasehold.
• Familiarity with and experience in applying USPAP (Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice).
• Awareness of laws, rules, regulations, and guidelines governing the appraisal valuation process at financial institutions.
• Knowledge of regulations and guidelines from primary federal financial institution regulators.
• Understanding of state appraisal and appraisal-management-company statutes and board rules.
• A proactive client-service mindset.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in responding to written communications via a computer system.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Technological literacy and adeptness in navigating standard office software.
