Procurement Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Place and confirm orders with authorized vendors, ensuring optimal pricing, availability, and compliance with company standards.

• Monitor all orders from initiation to delivery, proactively identifying delays and backorders while maintaining tracking details within tickets.

• Validate receipt and completion before advancing orders to the billing process.

• Cultivate expertise in existing products and foster strong relationships and communication with vendors and partners.

• Handle credit card reconciliations using the bill.com platform and provide necessary information to the finance team.

• Collaborate closely with internal teams to address order-related issues.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or order management.

• Strong knowledge of IT hardware, software, and licensing.

• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in processing orders.

• Capability to manage multiple orders concurrently in a dynamic environment.

• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

• Proficient in math, analytical thinking, organization, and communication.

• Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to engage with a diverse range of individuals (e.g., executives, team members, clients, suppliers, vendors).

• Experience with ConnectWise Manage (or similar PSA systems) is preferred.

• Familiarity with major IT distributors (e.g., Ingram Micro, TD Synnex, D&H) is preferred.

• Experience in Managed Service Provider (MSP) environments is preferred.
