This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Singapore.
• Assist in the onboarding of vendors, which includes the creation of vendor profiles, conducting vendor due diligence (VDD) reviews, maintaining documentation, and performing regular compliance checks to ensure preparedness for internal audits and regulatory assessments.
• Support daily procurement activities across indirect categories such as technology, professional services, marketing, HR, and legal, while ensuring compliance with the company's procurement policies and procedures.
• Oversee the entire vendor lifecycle, including the RFP/RFQ processes, vendor selection, assessment, and ongoing performance evaluations.
• Lead vendor negotiations informed by product and market data, focusing on aspects such as pricing, quantity, delivery schedules, SLAs, and managing the contract signing and follow-up processes.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing and training initiatives aimed at enhancing procurement awareness and compliance throughout the organization.
• Participate in efforts to optimize processes to boost efficiency, transparency, and compliance within procurement operations.
• Support data analysis, invoice validation, process initiation, and tracking of procurement documentation to ensure timely and accurate information flow.
• A Bachelor’s degree or higher is required.
• Exceptional bilingual communication skills in English and Mandarin, with the capability to engage effectively with vendors and internal stakeholders across various regions.
• A minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in indirect procurement; additional familiarity with Compliance, Marketing, Technology, or Professional Services is advantageous.
• Ability to drive procurement efficiency by comprehending contract terms, focusing on processes and costs, and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution, compliance, and timely resolution of issues.
• Comprehensive understanding of the Source-to-Pay (S2P) process and Vendor Assessment procedures.
• Proficient in managing multiple simultaneous projects, showcasing strong communication, organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
• Highly user-centric with a strong sense of ownership to identify business needs and deliver impactful solutions.
• Results-driven with a strong focus on delivery; capable of working independently and collaborating effectively with global stakeholders.
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic, and challenging environment.
• Market-aware with strong negotiation skills, able to identify opportunities and achieve favorable outcomes.
