This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Engage directly with vendors and oversee commercial outcomes related to technology expenditures, encompassing cloud, AI/LLM, data, security, and SaaS suppliers.
• Lead comprehensive negotiations for onboarding new vendors as well as renewals.
• Formulate agreements that include renewal uplift caps, usage and true-up mechanisms, ramp schedules, termination rights, and auto-renewal safeguards.
• Conduct competitive sourcing and develop business cases for vendor selection and consolidation.
• Create and disseminate repeatable AI-assisted sourcing workflows for proposal evaluation, price benchmarking, contract redlining, and negotiation preparation.
• Collaborate with Operations, Finance, Legal, IT, and InfoSec teams to assess vendors and structure commercial terms.
• Act as the primary point of contact for vendors regarding contractual issues and serve as the escalation point for employees in communication with vendor sales representatives.
• Ensure timely review and approval of procurement requests, coordinating with key stakeholders including the C-suite.
• Take part in the standard interview process, which includes AI-assisted screening, and interviews with Talent Partners, Hiring Managers, team members, and executives.
• Over 3 years of experience in strategic sourcing or direct vendor negotiations, preferably within a high-growth tech or fintech environment.
• A proactive self-starter who recognizes challenges and proposes solutions.
• Capability to collaborate across functions with senior management.
• Exceptional negotiation skills with a proven history of negotiating six- and seven-figure software, SaaS, or cloud contracts.
• Familiarity with commercial contract terms such as MSAs, order forms, DPAs, SOWs, and licensing models.
• Comfortable making amendments to contracts in collaboration with Legal.
• Proficient in AI tools, including the use of LLM assistants and agents.
• Demonstrates drive and proactivity.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
