This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Formulate and implement procurement strategies tailored to project-specific cost, schedule, risk, and technical objectives.
• Oversee procurement activities throughout the entirety of the project lifecycle; take ownership of deliverables and project responsibilities.
• Direct initiatives to identify, evaluate, and onboard key suppliers (capacity, capability, quality) to meet project needs, in collaboration with supply chain, engineering, and business teams.
• Manage supplier performance through KPIs, scorecards, and corrective measures while collaborating with category teams to mitigate risks.
• Lead the request for quotations (RFQs) and requests for proposals (RFPs) for complex components and systems.
• Conduct cost analysis (TCO, should-cost) and negotiate contracts to meet margin objectives.
• Collaborate with engineering, project management, quality, and operations teams.
• Ensure procurement aligns with project timelines and critical paths.
• Identify and address supply chain risks (capacity, single-source suppliers, geopolitical factors).
• Promote cost reduction and value engineering; monitor savings and budget compliance.
• Track KPIs (cost, delivery, supplier readiness) and communicate updates to stakeholders.
• Maintain adherence to policy and regulatory standards.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or Business.
• Minimum of 5 years of procurement and project/program experience on large-scale projects (over $100M).
• Proficient in strategic sourcing, supplier development, contract negotiation, and cost analysis.
• Experience with global sourcing, new product introduction, and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle).
• Skills in project management, risk management, and effective stakeholder communication.
• Preferred knowledge of regulations (ISO, AS9100).
• Preferred certifications include PMP, CPSM/CIPS, or Six Sigma.
