• Spearhead the complete sourcing cycle for Professional Services and Consulting, encompassing supplier identification, RFQ, negotiation, contract execution, and renewal management.
• Develop and oversee a preferred supplier panel for consulting and professional services, creating role-specific rate cards and standardized commercial terms throughout the category.
• Engage in contract negotiations concerning pricing, terms, and conditions directly with suppliers, focusing on cost optimization, quality, and risk mitigation in conjunction with Legal, Data Privacy, and Cybersecurity teams.
• Facilitate efficient and effective purchasing services that emphasize business value, timely delivery, and cycle time management.
• Oversee a portfolio of active agreements, including scope, pricing, amendments, and renewals, while coordinating intake requests for the category to ensure a seamless experience for internal stakeholders.
• Lead portfolio consolidation projects aimed at reducing supplier fragmentation and achieving measurable cost savings; identify and exploit value opportunities within the portfolio, such as volume leverage, multi-year commitments, and cross-business unit consolidation.
• Supervise the sourcing cycle, manage tenders, and cultivate strong relationships with suppliers while effectively engaging with multiple stakeholders.
• Benchmark supplier rates and market positioning against external references, offering credible commercial challenges to both suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain robust relationships with key internal stakeholders, including delivery leaders, Finance, Legal, and senior management across North America & EMEA.
• Assess and continuously enhance procurement processes within the category, contributing to the development of playbooks and governance standards.
• Participate in the broader procurement transformation roadmap, including system implementation, policy rollout, and the adoption of AI-assisted tools.
• A minimum of 8 years’ experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or category management, with a strong preference for experience in professional services, consulting, or indirect categories within a fast-paced industry such as Technology, Digital Consultancy, or similar sectors.
• CIPS, CPM, or equivalent procurement certifications are appreciated but not mandatory.
• A Bachelor's degree in Business, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Commerce, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
• Proven track record of leading sourcing events, managing supplier negotiations, and achieving measurable cost outcomes.
• Strong commercial acumen, capable of reading, negotiating, and challenging contracts including professional services agreements, master supply agreements, and statements of work.
• Experience managing stakeholder relationships in complex, multi-country environments, with the ability to influence at senior levels without direct authority.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and establishing category structures where few or none exist.
• Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to establish a spend baseline, conduct market benchmarking, and develop a business case for sourcing decisions.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with LLM tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, or similar) to expedite procurement deliverables.
