• Negotiate terms with suppliers, including pricing, product quality, deadlines, and expectations.
• Collaborate with the Legal department to ensure terms align with contractual obligations and integrate those terms into agreements like MSAs and SOWs with suppliers.
• Engage with senior stakeholders to capture and document business and procurement needs, utilizing this information to identify and choose suppliers for various services, from security software to engineering.
• Communicate with senior management from suppliers to secure optimal terms.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams regarding updates to goods and services and the governing contracts.
• Lead initiatives for RFI and RFP processes.
• Assist in documenting cost-saving efforts and proactively seek out new opportunities.
• Support dashboards tracking supplier metrics, expenditures, contracts, and overall organizational initiatives.
• Assist in the vendor qualification and onboarding processes.
• Create purchase requisitions and orders, reconciling these with supply requests, while managing Coupa and assisting Intermedia employees with Coupa processing.
• Reconcile invoices against contractual terms to address discrepancies.
• A Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3 to 5+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management.
• Proven experience in negotiating and executing contracts in collaboration with the legal department.
• Experience in the Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), Telecom, or Unified Communications-as-a-Service (UCaaS) sectors is advantageous.
• A self-motivated, enthusiastic, and entrepreneurial mindset with a program management viewpoint.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of effectively interacting and collaborating with diverse groups.
• Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and contractual abilities.
• Solid interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport.
• Strong time management and organizational skills essential for coordinating and prioritizing multiple projects simultaneously while adjusting to evolving business needs.
• Technologically proficient, demonstrating a high level of skill in Microsoft productivity applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Visio, along with familiarity with enterprise financial systems.
• Familiarity with Coupa, NetSuite, and/or Concur is a plus.
