This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.
• Generate and oversee purchase orders (POs) within the ERP system.
• Verify the accuracy of quantities, pricing, and delivery information.
• Monitor and update the status of orders.
• Engage with vendors across the Americas through email and occasional phone calls in English.
• Solicit quotes, confirm orders, and follow up on delivery timelines.
• Maintain prompt and professional communication.
• Collaborate with teams in Procurement, Engineering, Operations, and Finance.
• Provide updates regarding order status and any outstanding items.
• Assist in ensuring alignment between purchase requests and their execution.
• Keep organized purchasing documentation (such as quotes, confirmations, and invoices).
• Update information in ERP systems and tracking files (Excel).
• Assist with general procurement administrative responsibilities.
• 0 - 1+ years of experience in an administrative capacity (preferably in purchasing, procurement support, supply chain administration, or a similar field).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (basic to intermediate skills: filters, formulas, tracking tables).
• Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Dynamics) or purchasing tools.
• Experience in supporting purchasing functions within manufacturing, logistics, warehousing, automation, or intralogistics sectors is advantageous.
• Advanced English proficiency for comprehending supplier documentation and communicating with global teams or external vendors.
