• Oversee strategic sourcing efforts for essential categories, including compute hardware (GPUs, CPUs), networking, cooling, and data center services.
• Negotiate and finalize vendor agreements, Master Service Agreements (MSAs), Statements of Work (SOWs), and hardware purchase contracts to secure the best pricing and terms.
• Establish and manage a portfolio of preferred suppliers while upholding strong qualification and performance management frameworks.
• Collaborate with Legal, Finance, and Engineering departments to ensure contracts meet technical specifications, financial objectives, and risk management policies.
• Initiate cost reduction strategies and monitor savings against procurement budgets on both quarterly and annual bases.
• Oversee the purchase order lifecycle from requisition to payment, ensuring compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and timely issue resolution.
• Create procurement policies, playbooks, and standard operating procedures to enhance consistency and compliance.
• Lead and mentor Procurement Analysts, providing guidance and support for their career development.
• Track market trends related to semiconductor supply chains, hardware pricing, and logistics to shape sourcing strategies.
• Collaborate with the Data Center team to address procurement needs for infrastructure buildouts and vendor selection.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field; an MBA is preferred.
• 5–8 years of procurement experience, with a minimum of 2 years overseeing direct spend categories in a technology or infrastructure setting.
• Proven history of successfully negotiating and managing multi-million-dollar vendor contracts.
• Strong preference for experience with sourcing GPU/AI accelerator hardware, servers, or data center infrastructure.
• Proficient with procurement systems (Coupa, SAP Ariba, or similar) and ERP platforms.
• Excellent stakeholder management abilities, with the capacity to influence cross-functional teams.
• High proficiency in data analysis and spend analytics tools.
