Procurement Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Formulate and implement purchasing strategies across indirect spend categories.

• Identify, assess, qualify, and oversee suppliers and vendors.

• Guide contract negotiations, focusing on pricing, terms, and service levels.

• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to outline requirements and synchronize sourcing strategies.

• Monitor, analyze, and report procurement metrics to minimize costs and enhance efficiency.

• Conduct cost analysis, scenario modeling, and benchmarking to facilitate decision-making.

• Keep abreast of market trends and predict pricing or supply risks.

• Evaluate, manage, and alleviate supplier and operational risks.

• Establish optimal order quantities and delivery schedules.

• Promote continuous improvement within procurement processes and practices.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Capability to work efficiently both independently and in team-oriented environments.

• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.

• Experience in gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data to guide decisions.

• Comprehensive understanding of procurement processes, policies, and systems.

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, engineering, finance, accounting, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

• 3–5 years of experience in procurement, buying, finance, or accounting roles (e.g., Buyer, Purchasing Officer, Category Owner).

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

• Experience in negotiations and strong decision-making capabilities.

• Professional certifications such as CPSM, PMP, or equivalent.
