This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Oversee the complete lifecycle for designated addressable indirect spend categories and/or projects, creating and implementing category strategies as required.
• Execute and lead competitive sourcing events – such as RFXs – which include scoping, managing bidders, gathering requirements, and analyzing proposals to provide recommendations.
• Lead negotiations with vendors to secure optimal pricing, terms, and service levels.
• Collaborate with internal teams – such as Finance, Information Security, Legal, etc. – to conduct operational risk assessments and finalize contracts.
• Identify, monitor, and report on savings and value-added opportunities arising from strategic procurement initiatives.
• Approve purchase orders (POs) in NetSuite or a similar system, ensuring all purchases comply with negotiated agreements, policies, and processes.
• Conduct market research and analysis to uncover new trends, solutions, and best practices that can enhance procurement strategy.
• Work with stakeholders to establish business requirements and translate them into a coherent procurement strategy.
• Take responsibility for performance goals and achieve key metrics related to managed spend, savings, and project completion.
• Create and deliver planned or ad hoc reports on procurement initiatives, spending trends, and project progress.
• A bachelor’s degree in a business-related discipline (e.g., Business, Finance, Supply Chain) from an accredited institution is preferred.
• A minimum of five (5) years of professional experience, including at least three (3) years concentrated in purchasing/procurement/sourcing.
• High level of accountability and a proactive, self-motivated approach.
• Outstanding negotiation and influencing abilities, with a proven record of achieving strong commercial results.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the capability to simplify complex procurement concepts.
• Independent ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with verifiable experience in financial modeling and opportunity cost analysis.
• Proven success in managing comprehensive competitive bidding processes across various spend categories.
• Demonstrated expertise in data configuration and analysis, along with advanced Microsoft Excel skills – including the use of formulas, pivot tables, lookups, etc.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, coupled with demonstrated expertise using NetSuite or a similarly advanced ERP system – such as SAP, Oracle, etc. for procurement functions.
