This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.
• Define and implement Nexthink’s comprehensive global procurement strategy, operating model, and multi-year roadmap.
• Develop strategic category management for Software/SaaS, Cloud, Technology, Professional Services, Marketing, HR, Workplace, and various indirect expenditures.
• Establish category strategies, sourcing priorities, and a global pipeline that aligns with business objectives.
• Identify opportunities for cost optimization, demand management, supplier consolidation, and innovation.
• Lead or oversee significant global sourcing initiatives and strategic supplier negotiations.
• Drive measurable savings, cost avoidance, and enhanced commercial value.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of Category Managers.
• Establish category ownership, objectives, and accountability within the team.
• Develop standardized category management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Build succession plans, talent development initiatives, and future leadership capabilities within Procurement.
• Provide guidance to senior and executive stakeholders at Nexthink on commercial matters.
• Develop strategic supplier relationships, performance frameworks, and executive business reviews.
• Collaborate with Legal, Finance, Security, Privacy, and other departments on commercial agreements and third-party risk management.
• Enhance supplier performance, innovation, resilience, and sustainability.
• Develop global procurement policies, governance, and processes.
• Propel the evolution of the Procure-to-Pay framework and procurement capabilities within NetSuite and related systems.
• Improve spend visibility, purchasing compliance, supplier onboarding, contract management, and renewal governance.
• Identify opportunities for automation and procurement technology enhancements.
• Establish procurement KPIs and executive reporting structures.
• Conduct regular business reviews with Finance leadership and key executives.
• Utilize data and market intelligence to identify emerging commercial risks and opportunities.
• 12+ years of progressive experience in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, or Category Management, preferably in SaaS, software, or technology sectors.
• Significant experience in leading global indirect procurement categories and managing complex commercial negotiations.
• Proven track record in leading and developing Category Managers and building high-performing procurement teams.
• Experience in developing procurement capabilities, operating models, and category management maturity.
• Strong executive presence with the ability to influence C-suite and senior business leaders.
• Extensive expertise in strategic sourcing, category management, supplier management, and commercial negotiation.
• Strong analytical and financial skills with a history of delivering measurable business value.
• Experience with ERP and procurement systems.
• Experience working in international and multicultural organizations.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Professional procurement qualifications such as CIPS, CPSM, CPM, or equivalent are advantageous.
• Fluent in English is required.
• Additional European languages are a plus.
